RULES FOR ONLINE VERSION

Down below you will find the parameters taken in consideration for you to be able to participate in WAMUN XVI Edition:

 

IDENTIFICATION:

​

- Each Committee will have a number as a matter of identification while entering the sessions. Find your committee in this list: 

​

1) Human Rights Council: A

2) Security Council: B

3) Comisión Especial: C

4) Bolsheviks vs Imperial: D 

5) Human Rights Jr. Council: E

​

- Each delegate will need to follow the correct identification provided down below. In case of not being identified correctly, the delegate will remain in the waiting room:

​

Example:

Committee's letter - Country/Person the delegate represents - Delegate's name and last name. 

​

- Faculties will  be the ONLY observers allowed. These will only be accepted under the following identification: 

​

Example:

School´s name - Faculty's name - Committee´s letter

​

DRESS CODE

​

- Adequate and formal attire is the only accepted dress code. Chairs are allowed to dismiss those who are not dressed correctly. 

​

POSITION PAPERS

​

  • Due Friday february 18th and will be received until 11:59 p.m. in our inbox: wamun@aw.edu.ve

  • ​If there are any comments from the Chair, you will receive them prior the session starts. 

  • In order to be taken in consideration for an award, the delegate needs to turn in their position paper. 

  • The title for the document should be: 

    • School, Committee, Country, Flag

​

RULES OF PROCEDURE INSIDE COMMITTEES

​

- Zoom cameras are OBLIGATORY and should never be turned off. In the case of this happening, the delegate will be dismissed from the session. 

- Each delegate should have the delegation country´s flag as their background. In the case of representing a person, please restrain to the individual´s respective political party. 

- The zoom chat will be only available as communication lines between delegates and Chairs. 

- There will not be exceptions to maintain direct contact with another delegate through the chat.​

- Parliamentary Notes will be taken through the chat as well as Placards are going to be taken through the "raise hand" Zoom button.
