Washington Academy’s Model of United Nations, known for short as WAMUN, has been carried out for fifteen years, and we are proud to be hosting this new edition. WAMUN is an event that integrates students of numerous schools, of different ages (12 to 18 years old) and backgrounds, in this case in a three-day conference. In this model, every delegate has a voice that will be heard and brilliant ideas to solve the challenges presented through a series of formal debate sessions. The debates follow the procedures of the United Nations  and cover a variety of current problems of great relevance on a global scale. These topics of world range are distributed in our twelve specific committees, of which twelve are managed exclusively in English and one in Spanish.
